The Story of a #1000 note

Gradually,this year is grinding to a halt.Very soon,Xmas Carols will rend the airwaves.

How will you rememder this year?What will you remember this year for?

My intention is not to write off the year yet - I beleive that it is not over until it is over!

My aim is just to ginger up my readers to review their gosal for the year and analyse progress made- so far.

My prayer for all is that God who has seen you this far will see you ALL THE WAY!

Has the year been rough on you thus far?Dont worry;be happy! YOU have not devalued before God.Jesus knows about ALL our struggles;He will come through for us!

Consider the story of the N1000 Currency Note;

A well-known

speaker started off

his seminar by

holding up a N1000.00 note. In

the room of 200, he asked,

"Who would like this N1,000


note?"

Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give


this N1,000 to one of you


but first, let me do this.

He proceeded to


crumple up the

N1,000 naira note..

He then asked, "Who still


wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the


air.

Well, he replied, "What if I do


this?"

And he dropped it on the


ground

and started to grind it into the


floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now crumpled


and dirty.

"Now, who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the


air.

My friends, we have all learned


a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the


money, you still wanted it

because it did not decrease in


value.

It was still worth N1,000.

Many times in our lives,

we are dropped, crumpled,


and ground into the dirt

by the decisions we make and

the circumstances that come


our way.

We feel as though we are


worthless!..

But no matter what has


happened or

what will happen, you will


never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or


finely creased,

you are still

priceless to those

who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes

not in what we do or who we

know,

but by WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST .



You

are VERY special-

Don't EVER forget it."

Triple Digit Fruitfullness!

TODAY IS ANOTHER SPECIAL DAY: 9-9-9!

Now nine (9) is the number of FRUITFULLNESS!

That is why i wish my readers triple digit fruitfullness this day!

Fruits come from trees. Jesus Christ told us in John 15v5 that He is the vine and we are the branches.

Fruits of the (Holy) Spirit are also listed in Galatians 5v22.



So with the ones who is in Christ;born again christians angd spirit filled children of God;I Prophesy that your season of fruifness has com! IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

For ALL who are yet to know the Lord,i urge you to run into the cover of His shade.You shall by so doing end all manners of barreness in your life!

Enjoy your triple portion of fruitfullness;inyour Spirit,Body ,and Soul!!!

ACRES OF DIAMOND

The Acres of Diamond story,reportedly told over 5000 times by the American rhetorist,Russel H Conwell,between 1900 and 1925 is what I bring (again) to you today with good reasons.

Ali Hafed,a wealthy Persian farmer,who was content because he was wealthy(and wealthy because he was content!)heard about the existence of Diamonds from an old Bhuddist Priest and decided to sell his farm and all his belongings to go in search of Diamonds??! -because he was no longer content because he thought he was poor(and now thinking he was poor because he is unhappy?!)

After losing his fortune in his unsuccessfull search for Diamonds,he committed sucide.

Ironically,the buyer of his farm benefitted greatly because,out of the garden he purchased fron Ali,was discovered the Diamond Mine of Golconda in southern India - the most magnificient Diamond Mine in the history of Mankind!(Kohinoor and the Orloff stones of the crown jewells of England and Russia,the largest on Earth came from there.)

THE MORALS OF ALI HAFED:

Had Ali remained at home and dug in his own cellar,or underneath his own wheat field or in his own garden, instead of wretchedness and starvation,or death by sucide i a strange land;he would have had ACRES OF DIAMOND!

For every acre of that old farm,yes,even every shovelfull,afterwards yeilded gems which since has decorated the crowns of Monarchs.
THE SUCEESSFUL PURSUIT OF EVERY DREAM REQUIRES WISDOM.

As an already wealthy person,Ali ought to have considered,very well,the pros and cons of his expedition. As A RULE,TO PROTECT YOUR WEALTH;YOU DONT TAKE A STEP THAT WILL MAKE YOU FALL IF IT FAILS TO PRODUCE THE EXPECTED GAIN.

Do you know why Diamonds are so expensive? BECAUSE THEY GLITTER?NO!BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE HARD AND ALMOST INDESTRUCTIBLE!DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER!!
As Diamonds are indestructible,so are your dreams!Not just a flicker or a glitter for the whole world to see but irrevesible,irrepressible and indestructible!

Your Dream is worth much more than Diamonds IF WELL CULTIVATED!

Why,I had always known about "habit 2" (ref:Steven Covey:7 - Habits of successful people)but i felt this is rather far - fetched!But ,really,is too?Too good to be true is sometimes true!Afterall,dreams do come true... so,try it plese,i urge you.

This way,new definitions of Dreams come forth:according to Kola,"a dream suggests that life can be a grand event." Peter J. Daniels calls it a "sense of grandeur"

A dream is a glimpse of destiny which provides magnificence,nobility and dignity.DREAMING IS A GOD-GIVEN CAPACITY WHICH MUST BE NURTURED WITH SENSITIVITY.A DREAM IS A DIRECTION,NOT A DESTINATION.BE A PRACTICAL DREAMER,DONT WAIT FOR YOUR SHIP TO COME IN - CREATE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES,DONT SIT AROUND WAITING FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN;BE PROACTIVE!(Habit 1).FINALLY,DREAM WITH YOUR EYES OPEN!AWAKE!!WORK,NOTHING WORKS TILL YOU WORK!!!

DREAM and ACHIEVE

Recently,I came across an interesting book written by Kola Olutimehin titled "Dream and Achieve", which featured some astonishing postulations that i felt compelled to share vital information from the book and my comments on same with all the followers of DreamsDreamer's Blog.


1. THE PRINCIPLE OF ENLIGHTENED WEALTH

I have always believed in the maxim "Live and let Live";but my life experience so far leads me to think that not many share this believe with me!In this world of 'Dog eat Dog', it was so refreshing for me to hear an international motivational speaker and trainer of the calibre of Kola Olutimehin expound the reality of a WIN-WIN Situation in his Principle of Enlightened Wealth.

He affirms that,contrary to the paradim system of economics as the study of allocation of scarce resources,God has provided abundantly so much so that our world is filled with an abundance of resources,and that we can all have plenty,without loss for other people

A MAN SHOULD BE AS "RIVERS" (1)

Dreamsdreamer turned 45 yesterday 21st June! Once again,It is a time to Bless!!

During a memorable encounter with a Samaritan Woman,by a water well, as recorded in the Gospel according to Saint John.Jesus Christ (John 4:14 )talks about the "Water Of Life":this is what I offer my readers and followers of the Dreamsdreamer's Blog today!

The water of life is the wonderfull truth that Jesus is the Christ who gives salvation to every believer. (Jn 4:25.26,42.)

This truth produces in the believer a "spring" from which flows eternal life.Since that life lasts forever,no one who takes this living water will ever get thirsty(i.e need eternal life again)

One drink of the living waterJesus offers quenches a person's thirst for everlasting life.God's gift of eternal life is permanent and cannot be lost.

You may want to ask,"of what relevance is the issue of bithday at this place and time?"

The Bible says in psalm 90v12 "TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS ARIGHT THAT WE MAY GAIN A HEART OF WISDOM"

A BIRTHDAY IS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO REFLECT ON HOW WE HAVE BEEN SPENDING OUR LIFE,WHICH IS BOTH A GIFT, A TRUST(AND A TEST!) FROM THE ALMIGHTY,OUR CREATOR,WITH A VIEW TO SEEING IF WE CAN MAKE IT BETTER,TO THE GLORY OF OUR GOD

There is the natural birth,and the spiritual birth! It is the spiritual birth I urge you to consider today.Talking to Nicodemus,The Holy Bible quotes Jesus Christ as saying (in Jn 3:3) "verily,verily, I say unto YOU,unless a man is born-again,he cannot see the kingdom of God"

PLEASE,MY DEAR READER,GO TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY;RESPOND TO THE ALTAR CALL,BECOME BORN - AGAIN!This is the best gift you can give WordTeacher on his Birthday!

I am trusting God for your Obedience.Let ME now PRAY for YOU :
